The Romy Pendant layers clear glass, a softly diffusing porcelain inner shade, and warm brass-toned metalwork into a sculptural suspended form. The transparent outer dome gives the fixture visual lightness, while the rounded inner shade softens the illumination and creates a warm, focused glow. Available in two sizes, Romy works equally well as a compact pendant over a bedside table or counter, as a repeated composition above a kitchen island, or as a larger statement pendant over a dining or seating area.

Materials & Construction

The Romy Pendant is crafted with a clear glass outer shade surrounding a smooth porcelain inner form, creating a layered silhouette that remains visually open while softly diffusing the light source. Steel suspension components are finished in a warm brass tone, providing a restrained metallic contrast against the transparent glass. Because of the delicate glass construction, some final assembly may be required after delivery to help protect the fixture during transit.

Application

The 10" size is especially well suited to bedside lighting, smaller counters, breakfast areas, or repeated installations above a kitchen island. The 20" size creates greater visual presence above dining tables, kitchen islands, reading areas, and intimate seating arrangements. For multi-pendant installations, final spacing should be planned around the width of the surface below, fixture diameter, ceiling height, and desired sightlines.

Installation & Notes

• Installation: Hardwired ceiling installation is required. Professional installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
• Ceiling Compatibility: Suitable for sloped or vaulted ceiling installations when configured with the appropriate suspension arrangement.
• Hanging Height: Confirm the finished ceiling-to-bottom dimension before installation, especially for vaulted ceilings or long-drop applications.
• Location: Do not assume damp-, wet-, or outdoor-location suitability from the reference model. Contact our XYlight Support Team before ordering for bathrooms, covered patios, or other moisture-exposed locations so the required configuration can be confirmed.
• Glass Care: Dust with a feather duster or soft, dry, undyed cloth. Glass may be cleaned gently with an appropriate glass cleaner applied to a soft cloth.
• Metal Care: Wipe metal components with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, excessive moisture, ammonia- or silicone-based products, and harsh chemicals.
