These Terms govern your use of xinyuelight.com and any order you place through it. By using the site or placing an order you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
The site is operated by XY Lighting Co., Limited, Unit 000, 00/F, Example Industrial Building, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
2. Products and specifications
We make every effort to describe and photograph our products accurately. Natural materials such as alabaster, marble and crystal vary in veining, translucency and colour; brass and bronze develop a living patina. These variations are characteristics of the material rather than defects.
Dimensions and weights are nominal. Where a fixture requires installation by a qualified electrician, this is stated on the product page.
3. Prices, currency and taxes
Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise and exclude import duties and taxes levied in the destination country. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders we have already accepted. Where your order is shipped to a country outside our own, you are the importer of record and are responsible for any duties, import VAT or customs charges; these charges are not collected by us and are not included in the order total.
4. Orders and acceptance
Displaying a product on the site is an invitation to order, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy, which we accept when we send an order confirmation. If a product is mispriced or unavailable, we may decline the order and refund any amount already paid.
5. Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is captured at the time of order. All payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and their terms also apply.
6. Shipping, delivery and title
Shipping options and estimated transit times are shown at checkout and in our Shipping & Delivery policy. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; title passes on payment in full.
7. Returns
Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site unlawfully, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, not to scrape or reproduce our content and images for commercial purposes without permission, and not to interfere with its normal operation.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, product photography, drawings, designs and the XY Lighting name and marks — is owned by us or licensed to us, and may not be reproduced without our written consent.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of use, or the cost of substitute goods, except where such loss cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of our place of incorporation. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence.
