These terms apply to approved trade accounts, in addition to our Terms of Service. Where these terms conflict with the Terms of Service, these terms prevail for trade orders.
Eligibility
Trade accounts are open to interior designers, architects, specifiers, hospitality operators, lighting retailers and contractors. We verify each applicant before approving an account and reserve the right to decline or withdraw an account.
Trade pricing and discount
Approved accounts receive the trade discount shown in your approved terms. Trade pricing is confidential and must not be published, advertised or resold to the public. We may revise trade pricing with 30 days’ notice; revisions do not affect orders already confirmed.
Minimum order quantities
Trade pricing applies from the minimum order value shown in your approved terms. Orders below that value are invoiced at list price. Custom and made-to-order projects are quoted individually and are not subject to a minimum order value.
Quotations and validity
Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Lead times in a quotation are estimates based on production capacity at the time of quotation and are confirmed once a purchase order is received and payment terms are met.
Payment terms
Standard terms are a 50% deposit to begin production and the balance before dispatch. Extended terms may be agreed in writing for established accounts. All amounts are exclusive of duties, taxes and freight unless stated otherwise in the quotation.
Cancellation and changes
Custom and made-to-order production slots are reserved for you and cannot be cancelled once production has begun. Changes to specification are only possible before production begins, may affect price and lead time, and must be confirmed in writing.
Specification and compliance
We supply fixtures certified to UL/ETL for 110–120V markets and CE for 220–240V markets, and can supply other certifications to order. It is the trade customer’s responsibility to confirm that the fixture, its certification and its installation method meet the code requirements of the project’s jurisdiction.
Warranty and defects
Our standard 2-year limited warranty applies to trade orders. Glass, alabaster and crystal components that break in transit are replaced at no charge when reported within 7 days of delivery. Warranty claims must be supported by photographs and the original order number.
Trade account status
We may suspend a trade account for overdue payment, misuse of trade pricing, or conduct that harms our brand or other customers.
