Raindrop Rectangular Hand-Blown Glass Chandelier

描述

The Raindrop Rectangular Hand-Blown Glass Chandelier creates a dramatic composition of individually suspended glass drops, each appearing to float beneath a broad rectangular canopy. Slim black cords allow the substantial hand-blown glass forms to remain visually light, while the illuminated drops cast soft reflections across surrounding ceilings and walls. Designed around a fixed 54" × 20" architectural footprint, Raindrop features thirteen individually suspended glass elements and is available with either a standard or extended cord configuration. Lacquered Brass introduces a warmer architectural accent, while Matte Black and Satin Nickel provide darker or cooler alternatives for contemporary interiors.

Materials & Construction

Thirteen substantial glass drops are individually hand blown and suspended from slim black fabric-covered cords beneath a full-size rectangular canopy. Each glass element surrounds its own light source, allowing the illumination to pass through the thick glass and create layered reflections across the room. Because the glass is formed individually, minor bubbles, subtle asymmetry, thickness variation, and differences in optical character are natural characteristics of the hand-blown process rather than defects. The large canopy and suspension fittings are constructed in metal with the selected finish, while the individual black cords can be adjusted during professional installation to create the intended staggered composition.

Application

At 54" wide, Raindrop is particularly well suited above substantial dining tables, kitchen islands, conference tables, and large open-plan entertaining spaces. The Standard 72" Cord configuration is intended for conventional residential ceiling heights and installations where a moderate drop is required. The Extended 180" Cord configuration is designed for taller ceilings, double-height rooms, stair halls, and projects requiring a more dramatic vertical suspension. Final drop lengths should be planned in relation to ceiling height, the surface below, and sightlines through the surrounding room.

Installation & Notes

• Professional Installation: Assembly and hardwired installation by a licensed electrician are required.
• Structural Reinforcement: At approximately 168–193 lbs., this chandelier requires a ceiling structure capable of supporting the complete installed load. A standard electrical junction box alone is not sufficient.
• Cord Configuration: Select either Standard 72" or Extended 180" before production. Final individual drop lengths are adjusted during installation.
• Ceiling Compatibility: The standard configuration is designed for a flat ceiling. Do not install on a sloped or vaulted ceiling unless a project-specific mounting solution has been reviewed and engineered in advance.
• Glass Assembly: Individual hand-blown glass drops require careful final installation and leveling after the canopy is secured.
• Dimming: Use only with compatible dimmable E12 LED bulbs and an appropriate wall dimmer.
• Hand-Blown Glass: Minor bubbles, subtle asymmetry, and variations in thickness or optical character are expected characteristics of artisan-made glass.
• Glass Care: Dust with a soft, dry, undyed cloth. For deeper cleaning, apply an appropriate glass cleaner to a soft cloth rather than spraying directly onto the fixture.
• Metal Care: Wipe metal components with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, metal polish, excessive moisture, and harsh chemicals.
