The Kattmie Chandelier transforms hand-formed brass into a sculptural composition of overlapping ruffled discs. Each layer is shaped individually, creating a fluid, almost textile-like surface that catches and reflects the light differently from every angle. Nine concealed light sources sit within the layered structure, producing a warm indirect glow rather than exposed points of light. Finished in Vintage Brass, Kattmie brings a collected, artful presence to dining rooms, living spaces, entryways, and other interiors where the chandelier can function as both illumination and sculpture.

Materials & Construction
Kattmie is crafted entirely from brass, with individual sheets formed by hand into broad ruffled layers. The overlapping construction creates depth and shadow across the fixture while partially concealing the nine internal light sources. The Vintage Brass finish is hand applied and intentionally varied. Differences in tone, texture, burnishing, and surface character are inherent to the finishing process and give each chandelier its own appearance. When illuminated, light reflects across the folded brass surfaces and escapes between the layered forms, producing a softer and more atmospheric effect than a conventional exposed-bulb chandelier.
Application
At 28" in diameter, Kattmie works particularly well above round or smaller dining tables, in living rooms, bedrooms, entry spaces, and other interiors where a sculptural fixture is desired without the scale of an oversized chandelier. The fixture body itself is only 10" high, but the chain suspension creates an overall installed height between approximately 35½" and 71½". Final hanging height should be planned according to ceiling height, furniture placement, and sightlines through the room.

Installation & Notes
- Professional Installation: Hardwired installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Adjustable Suspension: The supplied 36" chain can be shortened during installation to achieve the required finished hanging height.
